G.V.M's Dr.Dada Vaidya College of Education is one of the prime Institutions managed by Goa Vidyaprasarak Mandal popularly known as GVM which has century old glorious history. The College of Education was established in the year 1993.This college library is situated on the first floor of the beautiful college building in the spacious location. The library is well equipped with collection of 8000 books,different subject encyclopedias, 300 bound volumes,maps, cds, audio cassettes, 28 educational journals,10 magazines,10 local and national newspapers.The library serves for 100 regular B.Ed.students, 200 IGNOU students and around 40-50 Pre-Primary Teacher Training Course Students during every academic year. Besides, Faculty members and students from other Institutions and some members of general public also visit this library. The library is using New Gen Lib software through which OPAC is accessible to the readers which shows all the bibliographic details of library collections. This library offers the help and support to all the readers at every step during the studies of the students and the readers in general . All the students are appealed to make best use of the library and its resources and services.
